Description
This monochrome images shows the last in-focus image I got of this bald eagle as it did a kamikaze run away from a fight it had just lost - it buzzed right over top of my head, so close I could feel the wind from its wings, as it 'got the hell out of Dodge.' I got a couple of more shots in the sequence as it got even closer, but my 420-mm telephoto could not focus that close - I cropped the top and bottom of the image to go to a 1x2 aspect ratio, but the width of the image is uncropped.
