Description
Looking across to the village of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, and its famous lighthouse at the point, this image was taken from a rock called Cranberry Head. Two resilient trees and a little vegetation grow at the very highest point of Cranberry Head despite receiving regular dousings of salt water - in stormy conditions heavy salt spray blows over this rock making it impossible to photography in foul weather. This image was shot just as the sun was setting and casting shadows of the trees horizontally onto the granite boulders beside them.
