Description
Palintino Hill is just to the west of Rome's Colosseum and is an oasis from the tourist bustle. It was home to Rome's first emperor, Augusto, and has a variety of gardens, chapels, and old buildings among the paths and gardens. This monochrome infrared image was shot on a cloudy September afternoon with high clouds, the perfect conditions for infrared photography. This image was processed with a little grain to emulate traditional black and white 800 ISO film.

Thanks very much Jacqueline - this was one of those odd shots that I did not think much of when I first downloaded. It sat for the longest time before I processed it and I was so pleasantly surprised after getting it to monochrome!
