About this image
A large bald eagle charges past another defending its food, with a singular focus on food ahead. There is also a crow in the foreground scattering as quickly as possible.
This image was taken at the Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley in early-March 2020.
Image processing and printing information
The photo was shot at 1/1000 second with a 560mm focal length and processed in Photoshop. As with most of my images on the ground at Sheffield Mills, I photoshop out the blood and scraps left in the snow. This image is well-suited for matte, semi-gloss, or glossy paper, or for printing on acrylic, metal, or canvas.

Wow, great shot! Also really interesting description and info about taking the photo and image processing! It didn´t occur to me that the ground would be messy, the final image with only white snow looks almost peacefully like dancing!
