Description

At blue hour the sun was already beyond the horizon, when red light flooded up from the last rays, lighting the undersides of the clouds over the Nova Scotia coast and casting magenta tones in the second high level of clouds in the background. A lone couple sit on rocks to the left, near the calm Atlantic Ocean waters, and the Peggy's Cove lighthouse red light signals total darkness is near.

A beautifully composed picture, full of drama!

Thank you Ben. This site is kind of odd, in a good way, in that the clouds so often seem to curl around in just the right direction to line up with the lighthouse. Must be something to do with how they come off land and hit different wind patterns over the water.
