Description
About this image
This dusk skyline image of downtown Atlanta was shot from the Jackson Street Bridge. Taken during a stunning sunset in late-November 2017, the long-exposure photo was shot on 55-mm lens, putting much more emphasis on the buildings rather than the snaking traffic lights on the Freedom Parkway below.
Image information
This image was shot with a 55-mm focal length Zeiss Otus lens at f/16, a 25-second exposure, and with the camera at 100 ISO. As with all my photos and digital art, it was processed in Photoshop. The image has a 2x3 aspect ratio and it is equally well-suited for printing on matte, semi-gloss or glossy paper, or on canvas, acrylic, or metal finishes.

Definitely a 10 Murray! Love how the long exposure of the traffic light trails lead the viewers eye up to the magnificent lit up skyscrapers and stunning Atlanta sunset. Well done.

Thanks Andrew - I hated driving when I lived in Atlanta! Fortunately I could walk most everywhere I needed to go, including here, which was about 15-minutes or so from my place.

Gorgeous long exposure! I've been in that snaking traffic, and I appreciate the beauty much better from this detached perspective!
