Artist's Description

In this monochrome image, a bald eagle has its wings spread wide as it came in to land in very windy winter conditions. Another eagle on the ground, back to the camera, watches, ready to jump into a defensive position if the bird in the air comes too close. This image was shot at Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch in February 2021.
