This grizzly bear (=brown bear) was walking a stream-side bear trail in the ice mist, always watching for salmon in the adjacent river. This is a medium-size female who spent lots of time in our area over the 8-days I was shooting at Bear Cave Mountain in 2018. I use this image as the banner for my artist website and it is one of my personal favorite images I have ever shot.
