This image shows a pelican cruising the water of Lake Naivasha, Kenya. Shot at the crack of dawn while on my way out in a boat for a morning of eagle photography, the dawn light floods the lake and lights up the misty lake surface and highlighting the complex dark patterns of the forested backdrop.
