Artist's Description
A curving Landcruiser track out in the East African plains, near the border of Kenya and Tanzania. This infrared monochrome image was shot in a vertical format and features one lonely Acacia tree in the distance down the winding road.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is in the far east part of Kenya, bordering the Serengeti national park across the line in Tanzania. The grasslands of 'the Mara' support all kinds of wildlife, birds, and reptiles. Many of the migratory species do a great circle annually culminating in the famous Great Migration which features wildebeest and zebras stampeding through the crocodile infested waters of the Mara River.
