Artist's Description
The bald eagle on the attack from above was not making any pretense about going for the food: it had only a jugular vein in it's eagle mind at that moment as it got a little bit of a jump on the large bird on the ground. Some crows watch and scatter just prior to impact. This monochrome image was shot at Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia, in late-January 2021.
