Artist's Description
After sitting in a snowy field in -15 C wind chill for almost 6-hours, waiting for eagles to come down from the trees onto a farm field to feed on some chicken scraps, my patience was rewarded on a bald eagle winter shoot near the end of January 2021. I sat upwind of where the eagles eventually landed to feed and fight, and had this bird come flying full speed straight at me. I managed to capture a full sequence of images from the start of the run until it passed about 2-m over my head. This photo has not been cropped at all - image dimensions are as they were when they came out of my full frame camera.
