Artist's Description

The harbor of Marie Joseph, Nova Scotia, has an assortment of dead fishing vessels ranging in size from this one to large factory size rusting hulks. While it must be the most run-down fishing village in all of Nova Scotia, for photographers interested in abandoned boats it is a treasure trove. Infrared here turns all the summer greens to frosty white. This is a high-resolution image, which was constructed using 7 individual images stitched together into a single image.
