Title
Young fish eagle hunting
Artist

Medium
Photograph - Fine Art Photograph
Description
This immature fish eagle was a novice fisher, having some challenges getting the approach and grab correct. I think it was so focused on fishing that it forgot about my boat and came really close. Taken at Lake Naivasha, Kenya in November 2019.

Thanks very much MaryJane. This bird was having such a rough time learning how to fish - like some awkward fast-growing pre-teen that constantly was getting tied up in knots.

Look at that wing span....
Murray Rudd replied:
Thanks Karen. There a few huge immature eagles at Sheffield Mills now - literally head and shoulders above the others.

Murray you sure have a way with the feathered set...great image
Murray Rudd replied:
Thanks very much Jim. I think I'm getting to the stage I've shot enough eagles I'm starting to think like a bird. Not entirely sure that's a good sign!
