Artist's Description
Sometimes good lighting shows up in unexpected places. We had finished shooting for the day and returned to our hotel in Iceland. The coastal lagoon, the mountains in the distance, and the sky all turned an amazing blue-purple-mauve color during blue hour and I was able to shoot this with a big telephoto to help give it a compressed look. Taken in early-March near the Thorbergur Center on the south coast of Iceland.
