Description
Water flows over the lip of the middle pool on the upper part of Little Qualicum Falls, Vancouver Island. For years there was a log wedged sideways across the pool - since it washed away downstream, the pool has become much more photogenic.

Thank you Bob. I must have hit the break between the logs with this one. I used to camp out at Qualicum and make it my home base every visit home to see relatives. Have you seen the bald eagle that regularly flies up the canyon in the evening?
Bob Christopher

Beautiful. Had an Uncle who lived in Quilicum Beach.Only was there once, and it was stunning.
Murray Rudd replied:
Thanks Greg. I was raised in Nanaimo so was fortunate that this was a regular spot for me. Usually when I visit the Island in the summer I set up camp in the park and use it as a base for the whole trip.
