Description
These two young goats had been running in circles at a nomad encampment in a remote valley in Ladakh, India, when they saw me, hopped up on a rock, and stared at me for an instant. I got 2 quick shots off before they returned to play. This is high up (about 5300 m) on one of the old salt trade routes south of Tso Moriri.

Thanks Lisa. The nomad here raise them for cashmere - there's so many varieties and colors of different goats, it's kind of like a farm fashion show sometimes!
