About this image
This winter image shows the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, at blue hour. Shot in early-March as it was getting dark, this 30-second long exposure captured the flowing clouds streaming into the area as a storm front approached. The bottom half of this vertical image show an ice-covered water pool in the rocky shoreline at Peggy's Cove, the site of the most photographed lighthouse in Canada.
Image information
This photo was shot with a 16-mm focal length at f/11, a 30-second exposure, and with the camera at 400 ISO. As with all my photos and digital art, it was processed in Photoshop. It has a 2x3 aspect ratio and is equally well-suited for printing on matte, semi-gloss or glossy paper, or on canvas, acrylic, or metal finishes.
