Description
Bald eagle ambush sequence 03 of 04 images in total. An incoming bald eagle on a vicious run at another eagle on the ground, who was too occupied trying to protect some food from eagles standing in front to realize it was about to get flattened. This is number 1 in a sequence of 4 images - check out the others for the full picture.
This image was taken at the Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley in early-March 2020.

Thanks Jim. Yeah, they do this umpire posture pretty regularly. They also have a victory pose after winning a scrap, which kind of reminds me of football players who used to spike the ball
